Non-Participant Application Process

The steps to the Non-Participant Application Process are listed chronologically and typically take at least two months to complete. Activation takes place on the first of the month after the requirements below have been met and ISO NE Market and Credit Risk review and approval have been completed.

  1. Apply for a unique D-U-N-S number for the specific company undergoing the ISO application process. A parent company's D-U-N-S number won't be accepted.
  2. Wire the membership application fee (Please email the Membership Coordinator for instructions.)
  3. Complete the following steps and mail original documents to the Senior Membership Support Analyst:

    1. Membership application [DOC]
    2. Market Participant Service Agreement (MPSA) Form [DOC]
    3. Security Administrator Signatory Page [PDF]
    4. Copy of State Articles of Incorporation or Formation
    Mail Original Documents to the following address:

  4. Complete the Affiliates Update Process
  5. Complete and submit via fax or email to the ISO NE Billing Department:
