Committees & Working Groups
ISO-NE has formed many specialized committees and working groups to assist in the operation of New England’s bulk power generation and transmission system and the power system planning process.
This principal stakeholder committee provides advisory input to ISO-NE on regional matters. The Participants Committee performs those functions specified in § 8.1 of the Participants Agreement and acts in accordance with the provisions of the Second Restated NEPOOL Agreement in performing those functions.
These committees advise ISO-NE on matters affecting the reliable and efficient operation of the New England bulk electric power market.
These committees advise ISO-NE about design and oversight of reliability standards for New England and the development of the Regional System Plan.
These committees advise ISO-NE on matters affecting the reliable and efficient operation of the New England transmission system.
Discussion between ISO New England, the six New England states, and stakeholders to define power system challenges; review market, planning and operational issues; and consider solution options.
These specialized committees advise ISO-NE in specific areas of expertise, to coordinate activities and evaluate requirements.
