ISO New England (ISO-NE) will host a virtual public webinar to present its recently released report, the 2050 Transmission Study. This landmark longer-term transmission study provides a look at the ways in which the transmission system in New England may be affected by changes to the power grid driven by state policy, and includes roadmaps designed to assist stakeholders in their efforts to facilitate a smooth, reliable clean energy transition.
This webinar will provide an overview of the study methodology and results, and is designed for a non-technical audience. There will be an opportunity for limited questions, as time allows. A recording of the webinar will be posted shortly after the event.
The final report, and related study materials, can be found on the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) webpage on the ISO-NE website.
