Accessible below are agreements that were in effect before ISO New England became a Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) in 2005. They are provided here for historical purposes only. Learn more about our roles as New England’s RTO.
- The Interim ISO Agreement outlined the responsibilities and authority of the ISO for oversight and administration of the region’s wholesale electricity markets and generation and transmission system, as well as the services to be provided to NEPOOL.
- The NEPOOL Open Access Transmission Tariff (see remaining documents below) was the FERC-approved tariff that ensured open access transmission service over the region’s transmission facilities.
- Attachment C — Mapping Document shows the relationship of certain sections of documents in effect before the ISO became an RTO (including those noted above) to those in effect after the ISO became an RTO by correlating the related sections of the two sets of documents.
