The following sandbox user interfaces (UIs), updated for the Price-Responsive Demand (PRD) and Forward Capacity Market Pay-for-Performance (FCM PFP) projects, will be available Monday, April 2, 2018.
The Customer and Asset Management System (CAMS) Sandbox User Interface (UI) will be updated with displays specific to demand response (DR). System access and test data will be made available to Market Participants and demand designated entities (DDEs) with demand response assets (DRAs). Under the Asset tab in CAMS Sandbox users with appropriate access will be able to:
The application group roles required to view or test the new DR CAMS Sandbox functionality include the External Demand Asset Maintainer, External Demand Asset Viewer, and the new External RTU Maintainer role. If you are a contact for a Market Participant or DDE with DRAs and you are not granted the role that you need to access the CAMS Sandbox please contact your CAMS security administrator to request access.
The Sandbox Demand Response MUI (DRMUI) will be available to test telemetry uploads. Users with access to the DRMUI Sandbox will be able to:
The application group roles required to access the DRMUI Sandbox include the Meter Reader Read Write or Read Only roles, the DDE Read Write or Read Only roles, and the DR Lead Participant Read Write or Read Only roles. Please contact your CAMS security administrator if you need access to the DRMUI Sandbox.
The SMS Sandbox Submit Meter Reading UI will be updated with new requirements under the FCM PFP project. Upload formats and web services will be revised to:
The application group role required to access the SMS Sandbox Submit Meter Reading UI is the SMS Sandbox / Metering and Daily Tag role. Please contact your CAMS security administrator if you need this role assigned to your person record in CAMS.
The Internal Transactions UI will be updated with a new Capacity Performance Bilateral tab under the FCM PFP project. Users that have been granted the SMS Sandbox / Contract role will be able to access the sandbox application.
