On May 1, 2022, revisions to the ISO New England Requested Billing Adjustment (RBA) process went into effect. The RBA changes require Market Participants to submit RBAs to Participant Support and Solutions via Ask ISO, either by submitting a case through the Ask ISO portal or via e-mail at AskISO@iso-ne.com. Additionally, the RBA changes provide that the RBAs will be deemed received once a case number has been assigned and transmitted to the disputing party; the case number is generated automatically when the ISO receives the case (“submitted” in the portal, or the email is received). Participants are also able to verify the case number in the Ask ISO portal.
