On July 28, 2023, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued Order No. 2023 mandating significant reforms to generator interconnection procedures and agreements to ensure that interconnection customers can interconnect to the transmission system in a reliable, efficient, transparent, timely, and fair manner. The ISO is dedicating significant resources to this important initiative to develop its compliance proposal and bringing it through the stakeholder process to meet FERC’s accelerated timeframe.
This is an educational webinar to inform stakeholders about ISO-NE’s FERC Order No. 2023 compliance proposal (subject to FERC approval) and the impact on Affected System Operator (ASO) Studies. There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask clarifying questions about the proposal. Presenters will not be taking feedback on the design at this time.
