On September 22, 2026, ISO New England released the new GridUnity GridInterConnect for Transmission (GIC-T) application for submitting ISO-administered transmission system interconnection requests. The initial release of the GridUnity GIC-T allows participants to request administrator access for their organizations and set up their company and user records ahead of the October 5, 2026, opening of the Cluster Request Window. The next window to submit a complete interconnection request package for the next Cluster Study is expected to be open from October 5, 2026, to November 19, 2026.
The Interconnection Request Tracking Tool (IRTT) application, which the GIC-T replaces, will continue to be available to participants to view information on their interconnection requests submitted on or before June 13, 2024, including projects that have completed the Transitional Cluster Study, a serial system impact study, or both. Additionally, the IRTT email address irtt@iso-ne.com will remain available for submitting support questions for both the GridUnity GIC-T and IRTT applications and processes.
