Aggregate Monthly DDG Undelivered Energy

Download the monthly delivered and estimated undelivered energy of the aggregated ISO-NE DDG wind plants. Energy could be undelivered for a variety of reasons but generally falls into two broad categories: Undelivered Energy Non-Binding (UE-NonBind) and Undelivered Energy Binding (UE-Bind). Non-zero UE-NonBind means that the plant likely had undelivered energy during one or more time periods where the plant did not have a sensitivity to a binding transmission constraint. This is generally caused by the plant’s offer indicating a preference to generate less MW than the theoretical maximum potentially achievable given the conditions at the plant. Non-zero UE-Bind indicates that the plant likely had undelivered energy during one or more periods while the plant had a non-zero sensitivity to one or more binding transmission constraints. These constraints might be electrically nearby, or perhaps electrically far away. Information about the constraints might contain market sensitive data and is therefore not publicly available. The total system delivered and estimated undelivered energy aggregate data is available, as well as sub-aggregations of wind plants within the Maine-New Hampshire interface, those within the Orrington-South interface, and those outside of each of these interfaces (i.e., the rest of the system for each case). Also included is a summed aggregation of wind plants within any of the historically constrained interfaces of Orrington-South, plus Whitefield South, plus Sheffield-Highgate, as well as a summed aggregation of all wind plants outside of these interfaces (i.e., the rest of the system).
